My wife Kate Downing and I are in a folk duo called Monday Morning Denial.  Last January, we released an EP titled "Scoundrels That We Are," and it includes our song Fish On, Papa.  Fish On, Papa talks about the importance of salmon to the lives and livelihoods of Oregonians and it also calls for the protection of the salmon fisheries in Bristol Bay.
